SKYWORTH TELEVISION WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
TERMS AND CONDITION

The terms and conditions of Skyworth Television Warranty shall be contained exclusively in this document and no other presentation of provision, either written or otherwise, regardless of the origin of the same, shall be accepted as either adding or subtracting from these terms and conditions.

By submitting your unit for repair, you are deemed to have waived any claims of compensation, monetary or otherwise, which you may be entitled to and are deemed to agree to accept any compensation whatsoever, by way of additional repair or otherwise, which in our absolute discretion we may deem fit to offer. The giving of compensation under this paragraph shall be subject to the provisions in this warranty.

WARRANTY COMMITMENT

Skyworth (Philippines) Corporation (SPC) warrants the product to be free from defects in material or workmanship within the given warranty period from the date of purchase under normal use.

1. For the LCD and LED TVs we will be giving two (2) years warranty on main parts (Panel, Drive Board, CPU Board), other parts one (1) year warranty upon purchase date, seven (7) days replaceable.

2. Service Hotline for inquire, repair schedule, complaint etc.

3. 24 hours home service upon receive order within Metro Manila, 48 hours for province area.

4. Free check-up and repair service under warranty period

5. Freebies will not under warranty service.

6. Installation:

1) Each new product purchased entitles customer to one-time demonstration service on the functions and usage of the product and proof of purchase must be presented during visit prior to the demonstration;

2) Customer will solve the wall condition before install on the special wall to avoid any damage caused by the insufficient wall load, such as marble or glass wall

3) Installation will not include suspension type, or gypsum board, or thickness less than 20 CM or other walls which cannot meet the wall installation requirements.

4) Skyworth will not responsible for non-skyworth base stand or bracket damage;

5) For any LCD/LED Wall Bracket, additional 1000php for installation charge.

SERVICE POLICY

1. All the problems caused by product self within warranty terms, customer shall bring SKYWORTH Warranty Card and Purchase Receipt (Sales Invoice/Official Receipt) go to Skyworth Service Center for the free check-up and repair.

2. The product information has been altered, deleted, removed or made illegible or not match with actual product, such as serial number on the warranty card or on the product.

3. Warranty Card and Purchase Receipt will no re-issue if lost.

4. Warranty does not apply with respect to the following:

1) Products which have been altered, modified or repaired by anyone other than SPC authorized service center in a manner which has affected their performance, stability or reliability;

2) Defects or damage caused by abuse, negligence, misuse, or failure to observe the instructions contained in the manual furnished at the time of original purchase;

3) Defects or damage caused by accident, fire, flood, lightning or other natural disaster or voltage instability or other force majeure;

4) Without Warranty Card or Purchase Receipt;

5) Any alter on the Warranty Card or Purchase Receipt;

6) Product out of warranty

7) Any of the warranty seals are broken or shows evidence of tampering.

SCOPE OF WARRANTY

A. Covered with Direct Replacement

A customer's unit is replaceable within seven (7) days from the date of purchase after thorough verification and evaluation of SPC. Replacement of the unit after the 7th day of the warranty period shall only be effected when after reasonable number of attempts to remedy a defect; the unit still continues to suffer from the same defect.

The decision by SPC on replacements or questions relating to defects of either workmanship or of materials shall be conclusive and the original purchaser shall agree to be bound by such decision. Any product of part replaced shall become property of SPC.

B. Covered with Free Repair Warranty

From the date of original purchase and for the respective warranty period, SPC or its authorized service center agrees to repair the SKYWORTH product that is defective in material and/or workmanship. SPC reserves the right to retain any parts or components replaced during the warranty period.

However, a charge will be made on any service call, adjustment or replacement of parts out of the specified warranty period.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

SPC makes this warranty subject to the following limitations:

1. This warranty is valid only within the territory of the Republic of the Philippines. To be covered by the warranty, the SKYWORTH product concerned must have been originally purchased and the person seeking the warranty service must reside in the Philippines;

2. SPC shall have no liability whatsoever for incidental or consequential damages. The responsibility of SPC under the warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of defective SKYWORTH products by SPC or its authorized service center.

3. All warranty information, product features and specifications are subject to change without prior notice.

4. The warranty certificate will not be reissued if lost.

5. Repairs/Service shall be on ¡°Carry-In¡± basis, wherein the purchaser shall bring the product to the authorized service center. Home service is limited to 32¡± and above (not include the remote controller and such freebies like DVD player etc).
